Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles made it clear during the NFL preseason that she wouldn’t be able to attend all of husband Jonathan Owens’ home games this season because of her Gold Over America Tour.
But after missing the Chicago Bears home opener last week against the Tennessee Titans, will Biles be able to make it to the team’s next home game against the Los Angeles Rams at Soldier Field on Sept. 29?
Well, as it turns out, Owens, a safety for the Bears, actually spilled the beans on when Bears fans can expect to see Biles again during a recent interview on the team’s YouTube channel.
The Bears won their home opener against the Titans in Week 1 but fell 19-13 to the Houston Texans on the road on “Sunday Night Football.”
Biles’ Gold Over America Tour actually kicks off the following day with its first stop at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, California. From there, the GOAT tour has stops in Phoenix, Arizona; Los Angeles, California; San Jose, California; Salt Lake City, Utah; Denver, Colorado; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Milwaukee, Wisconsin before hitting up Chicago on Sept. 29.
After the Chicago date, the GOAT tour has 21 more stops over the next four-plus weeks before the final show in Detroit, Michigan, on Nov. 3.
After that, Biles will be free to attend the Bears’ five remaining home games against the New England Patriots (Nov. 10), Green Bay Packers (Nov. 17), Minnesota Vikings (Nov. 24), Detroit Lions (Dec. 22) and Seattle Seahawks (Dec. 26).
