After becoming the most decorated Olympic gymnast at the 2024 Paris Games, Simone Biles will have a new place to hang her medals in Texas very soon.

On Thursday, the 27-year-old took to her Instagram stories to provide an update on the home she is building with NFL husband Jonathan Owens.

Biles parlayed a to-do list with a mirror selfie inside the property.

‘House meetings all day,’ Biles wrote. She also added that she also worked on landscaping and pool plans as well as audio and security amenities.

Furthermore, Biles shared a video panning through the nearly-finished kitchen inside the waterfront mansion, writing: ‘So excited to make this house a HOME a couple more months.’

Even with her success in athletics, it was the construction of their future home that led Biles to admit she’s ‘never been so happy,’ after sharing house updates on August 12.

Aside from her new home, Biles has a new luxury vehicle to park on the property.

On Thursday, Biles also shared a photo of a 2025 Mercedes-Benz G 550 SUV. The G Wagon retails between $149,400 and $175,000 depending on the features.

‘In with the new,’ Biles wrote on a photo of her sitting on the hood of the vehicle

The house project is the newest milestone for Biles and Owens. The pair got engaged in February 2022 after meeting on the Raya dating app in March 2020.

They exchanged vows in a courthouse on April 2023 before heading to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico for a destination wedding.

Biles is coming off an incredible Olympic run, winning gold in individual all-around, team all-around, and vault. She also bagged a silver for her floor routine to add to her tally.

Mayweather Jr. is set to have a rematch with John Gotti III after their controversial first fight ended in a mass brawl and was stopped in the 6th round.

Champions are meant to shine, and while none shined brighter than Floyd Mayweather over the first 49 fights of his professional career, he has spent the last seven years trying as hard as he can to tarnish that record. For the most part, he has succeeded.

How Floyd Mayweather Made A Record $275 Million For One Night Of Work

Unwilling to fight a boxer to reach that much-coveted 50-0 record, he staged a farce against Conor McGregor, much to the chagrin of the boxing world. In a bout filled with illegal punches and MMA moves that would have any boxer disqualified immediately, McGregor and Mayweather waltzed around the ring for 10 rounds, just long enough to make the $300 million that Floyd earned and the $100 million that Conor earned seem justified.

Mayweather, McGregor savor fight

Unable to add to that 50-0 record with his next opponents, not with a straight face anyway, Floyd then moved into the world of exhibition boxing, facing kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa and YouTuber Logan Paul before an ever-more-incredulous public. Finally, he faced a boxer, although one who was nowhere near his level, in former sparring partner Don Moore in a non-scored eight-round bout. Reverting to form, Floyd took another bout against an MMA fighter in Japan’s Mikuru Asakura before heading back into the YouTube world against Oladeji Daniel “Deji” Olatu in an exhibition bout in Dubai. In a rematch at Mexico City Arena, Floyd Mayweather’s next fight will be against John Gotti III. His first opponent, Victor Ortiz, couldn’t reach a financial agreement. The first exhibition fight between Mayweather and Gotti III at FLA Live Arena in Florida ended in a chaotic brawl, with their fight being stopped after six rounds.

It didn’t have to be this way. Floyd was an astounding defensive boxer, a practitioner of the sweet science of “hit and don’t get hit.” His career is a who’s-who of opponents, defeating the likes of Zab Judah, Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, and Canelo Álvarez, and Floyd could have ridden off into a glorious sunset.

During his two-decade professional career, Mayweather won 15 world championships across five weight classes, including the lineal championship in four weight classes. Floyd held the WBC, WBO, and WBA Welterweight titles, as well as the WBA and WBC Super Welterweight titles between 2012 and 2015. His skill was always in his defense. With amazing head movement and upper body mobility, he would wear opponents out as they threw punches at nothing but air.

UPDATE:Gervonta Davis’ trainer has no fear and challenges Floyd Mayweather to a fight against Tank…

A testament to his defensive ability is that his 50 wins include 27 knockouts, a phenomenal number considering his palpable lack of punch power. He would essentially use the frustrations of the opponent to have them throw themselves into ever-increasing vulnerability, ending up, like Ricky “the Hitman” Hatton, knocking themselves out by walking onto a counter-punch.

Very few fighters have ever had Floyd’s speed and agility, and he is unrivaled in the art of pugilism. It is a shame he has chosen to fully pursue his erstwhile moniker “Money” with complete gusto. Somebody should stop him before there is too much tarnish to shine off anymore on a legacy that deserves better.

Anthony Joshua has once again set his sights set on becoming undisputed heavyweight champion, according to Barry Hearn.

The Watford powerhouse faces Daniel Dubois for the IBF heavyweight title on September 21, while Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk duke it out for the other three major sanctioning body world titles (WBC, WBA and WBO) on December 21.

Anthony Joshua to fight winner between Fury, Usyk - Daily Post Nigeria

Providing he beats ‘Triple D’, a fight against the winner of Usyk vs Fury 2 for all the marbles is expected to come next.

British boxing fans will be hoping Fury can avenge his split decision defeat to Usyk and set up the long-awaited domestic showdown between him and AJ.

However, Joshua is just as motivated by a trilogy bout with the Ukrainian slickster after dropping a pair of decisions to him in 2021 and 2022.

“He wants to beat Usyk,” Hearn Sr told Sky Sports. “Because the first fight he had with Usyk, frankly he came out second best.

“He went away, he regrouped, he learned, he studied and he still got beat in the second fight. That’s why he got so disappointed in the second fight.

“It’s a split decision and it was close, but Anthony Joshua’s a very special type of sportsman. The money’s great.

“He’s got more than enough money, you could float a battleship if you put all his cash in one locker. But they want to win.

“These people want to win and they want a legacy. I don’t think Anthony Joshua will sleep at night until he is unified.”

Even if ‘The Gypsy King loses the rematch, there is a chance Joshua vs Fury could happen next.

“Joshua against Tyson Fury in early 2025 is the fight that we have a responsibility to deliver and we don’t walk away from our responsibilities,” Hearn added.

“We need to do that fight. I think personally that Usyk beats Fury in the rematch.

“It’s easier to make if Fury beats Usyk, because then if Joshua has beaten (Daniel) Dubois then you’ve got the unification fight because Joshua will hold the IBF belt.

One of the most well-known heavyweight boxers in recent history, Anthony Joshua, has captured the interest of spectators everywhere.

With the backing of his Olympic Gold Medal and undeniable outstanding star quality, the Watford native, 34, rose to fame shortly after turning pro.

Joshua started his career with an undefeated 22 fight record, which allowed him to hold three of the four major heavyweight belts.

However, he was impeded in his fast rise when Andy Ruiz Jr surprised him during his American debut.

However, a formidable adversary has recently entered the debate. A challenger to Anthony Joshua for an African fight, similar to the legendary ‘Rumble in the Jungle’ between George Foreman and Muhammad Ali in 1974, is the rising heavyweight Martin Bakole of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Joshua’s career is far from done because his victories over Francis Ngannou, Otto Wallin, Robert Helenius, and Jermaine Franklin have rekindled his ambitions.

Joshua’s newfound partnership with trainer Ben Davison has restored his confidence, and many believe he has acquired the mental toughness needed to compete at the greatest level.

In an attempt to win three world titles, Joshua is now preparing for a crucial bout against Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium on September 21.

If he prevails, all eyes will be on a potential unification bout with the victor of the Usyk-Tyson Fury rematch.

Oscar De La Hoya was, at one stage, the biggest star in the sport.

‘The Golden Boy’s Olympic success saw his pro career off to a good start and he went 31 fights undefeated until being served his first loss by Felix Trinidad. The only other men to beat him in a 45 fight campaign were Shane Mosley, Bernard Hopkins, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao – the two men who would take over as faces of the sport.

n a recent interview with Club Shay Shay, De La Hoya dismissed the idea that Mayweather, known for his elite defence, couldn’t hit hard. Whilst doing so, he said that he wasn’t hurt in his final two stoppage losses.

Oh he has power. He has power. I mean he didn’t hurt me, but he has a lot of power. I have a good chin. Pacquiao didn’t hurt me. Bernard [Hopkins] didn’t hurt me, I mean he caught me with that body shot. I have a good chin, but Floyd does have power.”

De La Hoya was stopped to the body by 39-year-old Hopkins in the ninth, lost a split decision over twelve to Mayweather and retired in his corner against ‘PacMan’ in what would be his final bout.

On the Combat Podcast, the fighter-turned-promoter said, perhaps surprisingly, that he rated the power of Mayweather and Pacquiao – who fought in 2015 with the American taking on the cards – the same

“I’d have say they were about the same … It’s funny, because I didn’t feel Pacquiao’s punch, it didn’t do anything to me, maybe it’s because Pacquiao was coming up in weight, I believe that was his first fight at welterweight so I didn’t really feel his punch. With him it was more of an accumulation, you know, but I would say about the same, they punch the same.”

There’s no doubt that Claressa Shields is one of the greats in the sport. Her achievements outweigh most names in the community, and in fact, she recently won a title in a fifth weight class, becoming the heavyweight champion. But Andre Berto and Andre Ward feel she still doesn’t receive the kind of respect, notoriety, and money she deserves.

You see, the thing is, Shields has always been very outspoken about the things she has done in the sport. Be it her two Olympic medals, or her undisputed status in two weight classes, she never misses an opportunity to boast about herself. This doesn’t sit well with everyone and don’t forget everyone has haters as well, meaning she receives a lot of hate online. And in the face of such an instance, while appearing in the All The Smoke Fight podcast of late, the Andre duo defended Shields against her haters.

Despite these efforts, Berto argued that Shields still isn’t receiving the love, recognition, or sponsorships she deserves. He pointed out that Shields feels other female athletes, who she doesn’t believe are on her level, “continue to get” the recognition she’s working hard to achieve. Berto speculated that this disparity could stem from her background or the way she speaks—whatever the reason, he suggested it’s an issue that needs to be addressed.

Simone Biles said she was shocked after a Paris club tried to dupe her by charging $26,000 for a bottle of champagne during a night out following the Olympic closing ceremony.

At 32-years-old, New Zealand’s Joseph Parker has one of the most impressive resumes in the heavyweight division.

After winning the vacant WBO World Title in a close contest with Andy Ruiz Jr, Parker made two successful defences before losing it in a unification bout with Anthony Joshua. He would suffer another defeat in his next outing against Dillian Whyte.

In a 2020 feature with the Ring Magazine, Parker weighed up his three toughest opponents in Joshua, Whyte and Ruiz. Whilst at that stage he said ‘AJ’ was the best overall and Whyte was the strongest, he says Mexican-American Ruiz hit him the hardest.

“Dillian Whyte did drop me, but with Ruiz, I really felt the sting in his punches. I think it was a left hook he caught me with in our fight that hurt me. From that point on, in the whole fight, I was deaf in one ear.”

Joshua is regarded by most as one of the hardest punchers on the scene but he doesn’t need Parker to tell him about the threat of Ruiz, who served him his first loss back in 2019 via stoppage. ‘AJ’ would comfortable win the rematch on the cards.

Ruiz made a return to the ring this year after a frustrating period of inactivity, scoring a controversial draw with Jarrell Miller in which he suffered a broken hand.

Since those words, Parker has been in the ring with some more heavy hitters. After a bruising stoppage loss to Joe Joyce – the first of his career – he gelled with coach Andy Lee and implemented an impressive a career resurgence that saw him beat both Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang.

The victories leave Parker in as good a position as any of the current contenders. A contracted rematch with Zhang may be next if the Chinese southpaw doesn’t face Martin Bakole. If he does, Parker could be in with the likes of Agit Kabayel or Jarrell Miller.

The debate over who hits harder out of Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois rages on.

Ever since it was announced that the heavyweight titans would be squaring off this September, boxing forums have been packed to the brim with theories about which of the Brits carries more concussive power.

Heavyweight contender Frazer Clarke, a former sparring partner of both men, joined talkSPORT’s talkBOXING podcast this week and weighed in on the discussion.

Clarke sparred Joshua for several years during his time with Team GB Boxing in Sheffield when both men were under the tutelage of Robert McCracken.

Anthony Joshua And Daniel Dubois Compared Ahead Of Usyk Fight: "One Is More Hittable"

Meanwhile, he has also duked it out with Dubois, who spent a brief stint with the podium squad before turning over as a professional.

Asked if Dubois hits harder, Clarke said: “On a single shot possibly but I’d say Anthony puts them together better with his boxing style.”

The debate will be settled once and for all when Joshua and Dubois exchange leather on September 21 at Wembley Stadium.

Both men are set to square off for the IBF heavyweight title after Oleksandr Usyk vacated the red and gold strap in order to pursue a second fight with Tyson Fury on December 21.

As a result, Dubois was upgraded from ‘interim’ to full world champion and will make his first defence of the belt against AJ

Several members of the boxing fraternity insisted Joshua had lost the fire in his belly after getting knocked out by Andy Ruiz in 2019, and then suffering consecutive losses to Usyk in 2021 and 2022.

The Watford powerhouse looked hesitant to pull the trigger in his first two comeback fights against Jermaine Franklin and Robert Helenius last year.

But devastating stoppage victories over Otto Wallin and Francis Ngannou in his most recent outings has led many to believe the Brit still has his ruthless streak intact, although Simon Jordan insists that Dubois’ power could give Joshua ‘PTSD’.

I think it’s a fascinating fight,” said the talkSPORT pundit last month.

“I don’t go with the camp that suggests that Anthony Joshua is fully rehabilitated, because ultimately he’s fought fighters that haven’t really hit him back at this moment in time.

Jermaine Franklin had a little go, but ultimately [Robert] Helenius got knocked out without landing a glove on him.

“Wallin was nowhere near him, and with Ngannou Joshua did what should have been done to him by Tyson Fury.

“So I think that if Daniel detonates on him he’ll get PTSD because he’ll take him back to a space where the question is that Anthony Joshua hasn’t wanted to go – deep in the trenches.

“There’s a distinct possibility that Daniel Dubois is going to drag him in there, and if he does, it’s going to be a fascinating fight, because he’s got the power.
